JOSEPH A. SACHA, Vice President
Joe Sacha is a principal partner and Vice President of Manufacturing Resources, Inc. Mr. Sacha brings more than 30 years experience in manufacturing engineering and management to the MRI team. He has led numerous programs to introduce new process equipment to the factory floor and develop new factories for next-generation products. He also is responsible for developing MRI's custom equipment concepts and designs for a variety of client applications ranging from forming and machining to assembly, test and material handling.

During his earlier career with Acme-Cleveland and Cleveland Twist Drill, Mr. Sacha progressed from process expert in tool design to manager of process and prototype development. In this capacity, he led construction of specialty and prototype machine tools, managed Factory Automation Systems' teams in planning, conceptual design and new implementation, and led a number of manufacturing cell designs accomplished by multi-disciplined teams focusing on process design and equipment selection. He also served as a key participant in evaluating the manufacturability of continuous filament composites for the Department of Energy. An Industrial and Systems Engineering graduate of Ohio University, Mr. Sacha has authored numerous publications on process technologies including metal removal, lasers and water jets. He was a major contributor to the Air Force SMIS program, where he developed key methodologies to evaluate technology requirements of small sub-tier vendors.

A Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio, Mr. Sacha is also past co-chairman of the American Society of Machining (ASM) Machinability Committee and a former research associate to NSI Sensor programs for tool wear.
