Our Clients

MRI's Consulting Services customers represent a wide range of businesses, including energy (land-based gas turbine engines, fuel cells and diesel applications), automotive, heavy equipment and defense and government agencies. One of our specialty areas includes working with gas turbine manufacturers, including study of the manufacture of recuperators, combustion liners, shafts, bearings, turbine wheels and entire engines in new product introductions. MRI has also worked extensively with solid ceramic suppliers, reviewing production and machining capabilities, developing test facilities and auditing an overall insertion program.

In addition to evaluating the manufacturing engineering needs of corporations, MRI has been honored by the National Research Council (NRC) with invitations to participate on specialized national assessment teams. As part of a special task force convened by the National Academy of Sciences, MRI joined a World Bank team to assist the Indonesian government in its evaluation of the manufacturing base of the entire country and to recommend strategies to accelerate the nation's industrial development. Similarly, MRI participated as a small business expert in an NRC knowledge assessment of nationwide manufacturing capabilities and development acceleration opportunities for the government of Panama.
